We will respond to your claim as soon as possible.
We strongly advise you to back up your data before collection of your device if your claim is successful, this is to ensure that there is no loss of information. In accordance with GDPR, we and our repairers do not store any of your data files. During the repair process your hardware may be wiped of all data. The backup of the data is solely your responsibility and we cannot be held accountable for any loss of information.
As part of the standard inspection carried out by our repairers the last date the computer was accessed is confirmed. This information is obtained from the computers HDD but does not involve the viewing of your data or personal information. If you would prefer us not to carry out this check for any reason then please either contact us or make this known to the repairer when collection is arranged. Please note that we reserve the right to request this access should it affect the validation of your claim. Please note that this does not apply to tablets, smartphones or peripheral items.
